Clearance & Indications

Cleared to measure pulse waveform and heart rate. We say exactly that.

Max Pulse records the fingertip pulse waveform by photoelectric plethysmography. The clinician interprets it. We hold the claims to the cleared indication and frame it for what it is: a fast cardiovascular wellness screen that opens the conversation, not a cardiac diagnosis.

What Max Pulse measures
  • Pulse waveform · the fingertip accelerated plethysmogram, captured by photoelectric sensor
  • Arterial-stiffness markers · waveform-derived indicators of vascular elasticity
  • Heart rate and rhythm regularity · basic circulatory function at point of care
Cash-pay wellness model
Screen at every consult, payer-confirmed if billed
How it runs Cash-pay Positioned as a cardiovascular wellness screen. Any insurance billing must be payer-confirmed in advance. Not framed as a reimbursable medical test.
Why practices run it on every patient
  • Three-to-five-minute chairside screen, so it fits inside an existing consultation
  • Immediate, patient-friendly report that anchors the wellness conversation
  • A simple cardiovascular touchpoint that complements deeper diagnostics on the same visit
What TITN claims: Max Pulse is an FDA 510(k) cleared device that captures the pulse waveform and heart rate to support a cardiovascular wellness screen. Fast, chairside, with an immediate report the clinician interprets.
What TITN does not claim: Max Pulse does not diagnose coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, or any cardiac condition, and it does not replace a formal cardiac diagnostic workup. It is positioned as cash-pay wellness screening; any insurance billing must be confirmed with the payer first. Interpretation is the clinician's.
Clinical Use

One quick screen, many doorways into the conversation.

Where a fast cardiovascular wellness read helps you open or deepen the discussion with a patient. Each of these is an aid to your clinical judgment, captured the same way every time so the retest is a true comparison, not a fresh impression.

Consult-room screening

A three-to-five-minute cardiovascular wellness read at every consultation, so the conversation about heart and vascular health starts on objective ground.

Longevity baselining

Arterial-stiffness markers give longevity and concierge patients a vascular baseline to track over time, not a one-time number.

Baseline, treat, retest

Capture a vascular baseline, run your protocol, then rescreen. The same method TITN applies across its diagnostic line, documenting change instead of impressions.

Lifestyle and wellness coaching

An immediate, easy-to-read report turns lifestyle guidance into something the patient can see, which makes adherence conversations land.

Integrative and functional intake

Fits the whole-person intake of integrative and functional practices as a quick vascular data point alongside autonomic and metabolic work.

Referral triage

When the screen surfaces something worth a closer look, it gives the clinician a documented reason to route the patient toward a formal cardiac workup.

How the Screen Works

Finger on the sensor. A few minutes. A report on the desk.

A trained tech or medical assistant runs it, not the physician. Consistent placement and a steady patient are what make the retest a real comparison.

01

Seat and sensor

The patient sits, rests, and places the left index finger in the photoelectric sensor. No prep, no gel, no needles.

02

Pulse-wave capture

The device records the fingertip pulse waveform and heart rate over a short, steady window. Three to five minutes, captured the same way each visit.

03

Automated analysis

The system derives arterial-stiffness and circulation markers from the waveform and assembles them into a structured, patient-friendly report.

04

Immediate read

The report is ready at point of care. The clinician interprets it with the patient in the room, and a BMTG read is available where a deeper interpretation helps.

BMTG Interpretation

The expert read, when the screen deserves a second set of eyes.

Max Pulse runs fine on its own at point of care. When you want the cardiovascular picture interpreted alongside the rest of a patient's data, BMTG, TITN's sister service, adds the read so you stay in your specialty.

Cardiovascular reads in context, on our HIPAA portal.

Max Pulse pulse-wave results can be reviewed alongside autonomic and vascular data from TM-Flow and the rest of the TITN line, then returned through TITN's HIPAA-compliant portal with our template visuals. For wellness, longevity, and integrative use, interpreted by a BMTG clinician or by your own team using our templates.

Method · Baseline, treat, retest

One vascular screen, tracked across the care arc.

Max Pulse fits TITN's baseline-treat-retest methodology. Screen at intake, document the cardiovascular wellness picture, run your protocol, then rescreen so the change is on the page. BMTG can frame the before-and-after so the patient and the practice both see the trend.

  • Same protocol each visit, so the retest is a true comparison
  • Pairs with TM-Flow for a fuller vascular and autonomic story
  • Cash-pay wellness framing held throughout, billing payer-confirmed if used

Common questions

Max Pulse, answered.

The questions clinics ask before they add a cash-pay cardiovascular screen.

Is Max Pulse FDA cleared?

Yes. Max Pulse is an FDA 510(k) cleared pulse-wave and arterial-stiffness screening device (K110374). It is a screening tool, not a substitute for a formal cardiac workup.

Is this billed to insurance?

No. Max Pulse runs as a cash-pay wellness screen, a fast way to open a cardiovascular conversation, not an insurance-reimbursed diagnostic.

How long does the screen take?

About three to five minutes at the chairside, with an immediate on-screen report.

What does it measure?

Pulse-wave analysis and arterial stiffness, two quick and noninvasive indicators of cardiovascular status.

Why offer a cash-pay screen?

It is a patient-friendly entry point: a quick, visual cardiovascular screen that surfaces who needs a deeper workup, and it pairs naturally with the autonomic and vascular testing on TM-Flow.
